“Candidates will be required to complete a test of their physical assessment, a written examination, and an oral board. Successful candidates will be required to successfully pass an intensive background check prior to appointment to a police academy.”

Candidates are expected to complete a minimum of 15 pushups (no time limit) and 25 sit-ups (1 min.) and complete the 1.5 mile run at or under 15:22 without stopping or walking any portion.
